My Necromaner's Library

Manage a library in a dark fantasy setting: collect books, arrange shelves, assist patrons, and host community events! Hire adventurers to delve into the depths of a dead Necromancer’s lair for rare tomes. Restore and customize books while uncovering a character-driven tale in this peculiar mining town.

This is my first solo game dev project and is planned for release in summer or fall of 2026.

For this game, I am combining my love for cozy shop keeping games with my passion for dark, character driven narratives, and adding a sprinkling of "I wish I had time to play JRPGs".

Library Sim

While the doors are open, visitors will come looking for books, shelter and community. Make them happy to increase your library's renown and unlock even more books, furniture and character options.

Organize community events like game nights and book clubs.

Restore and customize books in your downtime.

Keep the library tidy and expand on your inventory.

And for the book hoarders among us:

Aside from a few quest-related books, you will never have to part with your books!

In fact, selling is no part of the game. Instead, you keep above water by means of donations, event fees and the occational book binding request. And maybe you can convince some of the richer folk to help you out when your pockets are too empty.
